Job Description
Position: Part-Time Computer Teacher
Organization: La Martiniere SEOMP Society
Location: Kolkata
Working Hours: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Part-Time)
Program: Basic Computer Application Training

Position Overview
The Computer Teacher will be responsible for delivering a structured Basic Computer Application course to students and youth enrolled in the SEOMP skill development program. The trainer will provide both theoretical instruction and practical training in computer fundamentals, office applications, internet use, and digital literacy to build employable digital skills.

1. Training and Instruction
* Deliver classroom and practical training based on the Basic Computer Application curriculum.
* Teach key modules such as computer fundamentals, operating systems, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, internet and email, digital services, and basic hardware concepts.
* Ensure students understand both theoretical concepts and practical computer applications.

2. Practical Skills Development
* Conduct hands-on computer practice sessions in the lab.
* Guide students in completing assignments, exercises, and practical projects.
* Support students in developing skills in document preparation, spreadsheets, presentations, and online communication.

3. Student Support
* Provide guidance to students with limited computer knowledge.
* Encourage active participation and interactive learning during sessions.
* Support students in building confidence in using computers and digital tools.

4. Assessment and Monitoring
* Conduct internal assessments and practical evaluations.
* Monitor student attendance and performance during the course.
* Assist in organizing final practical and theory assessments at the end of the training program.
