As ADRI continues to strengthen its digital and data-driven capabilities, the organisation is building a dedicated technology team to support internal systems, research platforms, and project-based applications.
Role Overview
The Junior Software Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of web-based and backend systems used across ADRI’s research and operational initiatives. The role is intended for early-career professionals who demonstrate strong technical fundamentals, a learning-oriented mindset, and respect for structured development and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web and backend application components.
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code aligned with organisational standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and system references.
- Support internal tools, dashboards, and research-driven platforms.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and operations teams to translate functional requirements into technical tasks.
- Visit client location onsite for technical assistance.
- Support deployment activities and ongoing system improvements.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one of the following programming languages - Java, TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, NextJS or Angular, with an understanding of component-based architecture and responsive interface design.
- Working knowledge of backend frameworks such as NestJS or Django, including exposure to building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including basic schema design and query optimisation.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and platforms such as GitHub.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
Compensation
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per ADRI norms.
