Program Head – Antar Bharati Balgram (Residential CCI)

Role Summary
The Program Head will provide overall leadership, governance oversight and operational management of Antar Bharati Balgram. The role ensures child protection, institutional discipline, program quality, compliance, infrastructure management, donor engagement and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Holistic Child Care & Protection: Implement structured daily routines; oversee counselling, health and academic monitoring; ensure Child Protection Policy compliance; maintain updated child records.
- Human Resource Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate caregivers and staff; conduct monthly performance reviews; ensure discipline and adherence to child care standards.
- Safety & Security: Ensure visitor logs, CCTV functionality, night/day rounds, safety drills and immediate incident escalation; maintain zero tolerance for CPP violations.
- Infrastructure & Campus Management: Oversee maintenance of residential facilities, kitchens, sanitation, utilities, vehicles and equipment; ensure timely closure of maintenance issues.
- Process, SOP & Compliance: Implement KRAs and SOPs; ensure statutory documentation under JJ Act; coordinate audits and compliance visits; maintain 100% documentation accuracy.
- CSR & Donor Relations: Prepare timely donor and CSR reports (narrative & financial); facilitate donor visits; ensure transparent utilisation of grants and in-kind donations.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Maintain MIS dashboards; track KPIs; conduct monthly reviews; ensure data-driven decision making and financial prudence.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with schools (ABBS), government bodies, CWC, DCPU, healthcare providers and community stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 100% structured daily schedule implementation for all children.
- Monthly progress tracking and updated health/counselling records.
- Zero Child Protection Policy violations.
- 100% timely submission of reports and audit documentation.
- Minimum one staff training session per month.
- 90% adherence to daily routines and maintenance closure timelines.
- Positive donor feedback and zero financial discrepancies.
- Clean, safe and audit-ready campus at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
- 10-12 years total experience, including 3–5 years in CCI, SOS or residential childcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of JJ Act and child rights frameworks.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, MIS tools and data management systems
- Demonstrated leadership, emotional maturity and administrative capability.
