The candidate should have in-depth subject matter knowledge, expertise, and experience. Timely and high-quality delivery of goals would be essential and will be a key performance measurement criterion. S/he coordinates and collaborates closely with identified partner organisations which include but are not limited to nonprofits, government and private sector organisations to help health workers and project assistants to grow access to eyeglasses by delivering effective training, providing marketing support, and monitoring stock levels and demand forecasts. Secondarily, the senior lead supports new program launches with organisations that have community-based field operations in order to increase the depth and breadth of eyeglass distribution channels and drive partner demand for eyeglasses in lowincome communities The Senior Lead, RGIL serves as a key team member within the VAP team and will be based in India out of Delhi NCR (Noida). This is a 1-year contractual role, with potential for extension based on performance.

What You’ll Do
 
Implement and Manage Reading Glasses for Improved Livelihoods Program 
  • Manage the RGIL Program in India to increase access to eyeglasses for low-income consumers.
  • Maintain close working relationships with partners to support the implementation of the RGIL Program across India.
  • Assist the marketing team in creating marketing collateral and driving awareness about the power of clear vision among potential partners, including the development and introduction of simple leaflets or other cost-effective promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular surveys and assessments of the RGIL Program. Assist in preparing written reports summarising the program achievements against targets; areas of success, failure, and learning; and recommendations for continuous performance improvement.
Performance Enhancement Support
  • Collaborate with the team members to grow access to eyeglasses. 
  • Collaborate with partner organisations to track and facilitate access to eyeglasses.
  • Develop plans with identified partners to increase access to eyeglasses by including refresher training, marketing, and targeted customer outreach campaigns.
  • Develop and implement reward and recognition programs for high performers
  • Faithfully and accurately enter all program activity in the data system.
  • Prepare monthly key indicators report (performance management report) to assure RGIL program goals are met.
Supply Chain Oversight
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure high-quality products are delivered to partners.
  • Review monthly inventory checks and anticipate supply chain problems to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products to partners.
  • Support identified partner organisations staff in accurate demand forecasting and in placing advanced purchase requisitions.
New Business Development 
  • Maintain and deepen close working relationships with new partners.
  • Use your creativity to find new paths, and expand existing ones, to bring reading glasses to our target population.
  • Represent VisionSpring Foundation at stakeholder meetings, government forums, and in peer groups. Attend educational and market development events such as partner workshops, seminars, conferences, training, etc.
What’s Required
  • Master’s degree/MBA in marketing, partnerships development, management, and/or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in some combination of project implementation and management, partnership development and management, and/or training and capacity building.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, including strong presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional partner and team management skills.
  • Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, within India.
