Professional Experience:

I have 12 years of experience in addressing issues related to Gender Based Violence and especially violence against children. I have had the opportunity to work as the Head of Operations and the Psychosocial Expert of the Government Women Helpline in Tamil Nadu where my key Roles and Responsibilities were to Listen, do Risk assessment, Safety planning of women and children in distress, LGBTQ support, ensuring immediate response in case of emergencies and providing training and capacity building of our team. In the Helpline which was functioned by a service provider. I was the Single point of contact to coordinate with the Social Welfare Department, Tamil Nadu Government, the Service provider and the Other Government referral agencies. It was my duty to ensure that the Service Level Agreement was ensured to meet and the project runs smoothly without any penalty and to monitor the budget allocation as the Head of the project. I also have the experience of cofounding a Rape Crisis centre in Tamil Nadu and the NGO focused on working on the issue of Child Sexual Abuse and worked towards Rescue, rehabilitation and legal support to victims of Child Sexual abuse and child marriage.
I currently work as the Senior consultant for the Project Management Unit, where I have to Monitor and Evaluate each and every project of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department , Tamil Nadu.
