Professional Experience:

2002-2004: Worked as Researcher in C-NES , a Delhi based non-profit headed by Mr. Sanjoy h, Hazarika, Author and Journalist.
2004-2006: Consultant in Planning Commission, New Delhi, under the Agriculture Division.

2007-2018: Head one non-profit in Assam as the convenor cum member Secretary with financial support from Tata Trusts, NABARD, IWMI, ASTEC, AEDA etc and engaged in preparation of DPR, fund mobilization, monitoring and overall supervision.

2019-till date: Project Coordinator at the Operational Project Implementation Unit (OPIU) of APART at AAU, Jorhat.

Education:

Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics and farm Management from Assam Agricultural University (1999). B.Sc. Agri was also from AAU, Jorhat.
Passed 10+2 in Science stream from DKD College, in 1991.


Currently working as Project Coordinator in OPIU_AAU under APART Project funded by the World bank.

Written in national and regional dailies on culture, agriculture and food security.
Published one paper on SRI method based on field projects carried out in Assam from 2008 to 2017.
