I was working as District Programme Officer under IPE Global Ltd. at project Vriddhi, I was also associated with SAATHI as a Programme Officer of the Project Sambhuya and I have four years of work experience as a Welfare Officer in Tea Estate at Amalgamated Plantation Pvt. Limited (A Tata Enterprise).
I have completed my Masters in Social Work (MSW) with the specialization in Community development from NERIM under Dibrugarh University.
*Achieved Chief Minister’s Award for best Tea Garden for Welfare Activities from Govt of Assam.*Achieved best Labour Club, Maternity ward, Crèche among the Tea garden of Sonitpur district from Govt of Assam.*Formed Mothers club and Adolescent girls club at Tea gardens.*In Dibrugarh district,Assam my targeted work areas of Tea garden hospitals were started counselling session during ANC and PNC with documentation.*The tea garden hospitals associated with the project have implemented the necessary requirement which were not present before like administration of Vitamin K to newborn, Oxytocin to mothers within 1 min after delivery, maintenance of registers High risk, Family Planning, ANC & PNC counselling etc.*Successfully arranged & completed three days of training session for all Doctors & nurses of Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) regarding IMNCI with 100% participants.
