Professional Experience:

1.Started reaching out to Slum dwellers as a Medical student, for their health needs. Used to collect medicinesamples and run a small health clinic in the slum.
2.After graduating, went to work in the Himalayas in a Hospital which was 7000 feet above sea level. Great time of learning and reaching out for 2 years.
3.As soon as I trained as a General Surgeon I joined and worked in another Medical mission hospital for One year. This was in a poverty stricken zone of what is now Uttrakhand.
4.Through my career I have worked in Peripheral rural hospital for short periods.
5.As a Medical Administrator, being sensitive to Patients who come from low socio economic strata has been my priority. Have assessed their need and then organized funds for them.

1.MBBS in December 1983 from CMC Ludhiana.
2. Masters in Surgery in December 1988 from PGI Chandigarh.
3. Superspecialisation(Doctorate equivalent ) in Paediatric Surgery from CMC Vellore in March 1993
4.Diploma in Hospital administration in July 1999
5.Multiple training sessions and workshops in Administration
B.I have passed 3 courses in Philanthropy from Philanthropy University with brilliant scores and 1 more course which is not scored.The fire within towards reaching out to Needy gets warmer.
