Professional Experience: |
My impressive 16-year professional journey has taken me through the corridors of TB reference laboratories, overseeing phase III TB clinical trials, and executing diverse technical expert roles in public health projects centered around TB and COVID-19. Undertook more than 40 international work trips spanning Asia, Africa, and Europe. I have led over 150 training sessions on GeneXpert, Line Probe Assays (LPA), and Liquid Culture across 20 countries and supported GeneXpert rollout since the early phase of GeneXpert introduction. I have been part of many public health projects funded by the USAID, WHO, World Bank, The Global Fund, TB Alliance, UCL etc. I have led teams setting up more than 35 TB (LPA and BSL-3) and COVID-19 reference laboratories across India and implemented Global Laboratory Initiative standard operating procedures. I am formally trained in ISO 15189 from the Quality Council of India.
