Trained in medicine and public health and with 25 years of experience in diverse clinical, public health and research settings in India and the USA, I bring in innovative perspectives to the public health sector, academic medicine, the non-profit environment and corporate philanthropy in addressing complex community health issues. My core competencies include large scale and high impact program design, evaluation research, training and capacity building of health workforce and risk mitigation besides effective team building for impact delivery.Creative thinking and innovative problem solving are two of my pillars of strengths. While I have worked extensively in various health domains, my current areas of interest are integrated approaches to chronic disease control, task shifting in primary health care, quality assurance in all levels of health care and community empowerment for treatment compliance. Yet I am open to all challenging opportunities in serving the sustainable development goal 3.0 by 2030. I volunteer for education of underprivileged children and environmental protection via innovative training and product solutions.
