Professional Experience:

Currently am working as District Consultant : Maternal & Child Health for Vaishali district of Bihar . Till now worked in 12 districts and Vaishali is the 13th district of my posting since start . Since 2005 have worked in various positions of UNICEF . Started the job as District Polio Extender in SM Net , then joined the position of Social Mobilization Coordinator for polio program , after that joined in health sector as District Child Survival Officer , then joined as District Consultant – Reproductive & Child Health , after that joined as District Consultant- Capacity Development (Reproductive & Child Health) and finally am working as District Consultant : Maternal & Child Health . Before UNICEF I worked in Pathfinder International through CENCORED as master trainer for the project working on spacing between children . Before Pathfinder International have also worked in National Sample Survey Organisation for one year .

Education:

Have completed my Masters in Social Work and have also done P.G.Diploma in Population Studies from Patna University. One subject of Population Studies was Women Empowerment.

Affiliations and Achievements:

Have worked as Trainer for Intermediate level students of Magadh Mahila College, Patna University on- AIDS Awareness Training Programme ,Sexual Harassment & Gender Discrimination.Also worked as trainer for students of 6th to 10th Std in various schools of Patna on Adolescent Education .
