Roles and Responsibilities:
• Overall coordination of Project titled ‘Increased Awareness, Access and Quality of elderly services’ under the broad umbrella of UNFPA’s initiative of Building knowledge-base on Population Ageing in India’ which included designing and implementing micro-level studies, analysis of secondary data, report writing, liaising with co-partners to organise various events for dissemination of the findings.
• Project management- Creation of Annual Work Plan, timelines for activities, utilisation of funds, quarterly and annual reporting -financial and progress reports, facilitating audits, etc. Liasoning with Partner Institutions on the project for AWP adherence.
• Research Proposals – Conceptualising research studies and research design – community level; programmatic, governance- for undertaking research activities and academic collaborations, at the Centre for Population, Health and Development, SDS.
• Designing the ToR for Designing and Development of Web Portal on Ageing; vendor negotiations and content development for the web portal.
• Networking and Advocacy: Coordinating activities for Organising workshops and Seminars with media professionals, CSR professionals, government officials and NGOs. Advocacy based on evidence generated from research studies.
