I come with thirteen and half years’ rich experience in the development sector where I have been working with an organisation called Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) in Mumbai. I have grown from grass root level counsellor to my current position as Associate Program Director in the same organisation. During my tenure I have served in various capacities like counsellor, Project Manager, Program Manager- Counselling Unit, Research Officer, and Senior Program Officer. My quest for constantly doing something new and zeal and ability to excel in whatever I do has brought me where I am today. I wish to come out of my comfort zone and hence, looking for an extremely challenging opportunity to utilise my rich experience, abilities as well as skills.
As an Associate Program Director in CCDT I am leading 6 major community programs of the organisation and successfully coordinating with partners like Plan India, Save the Children, Magic Bus India Foundation, UNICEF Maharashtra and Childline India Foundation. I am well aware of developing strategies, budgets, proposals, log frames, and program implementation and monitoring. I have represented the organisation at both national and international level. My fluency in Marathi, Hindi and English helps me to connect with communities at local level as well as with international partners. My programs have also provided me ample opportunities to coordinate with various government stakeholders like health, education as well as different systems related to child protection. The participation and representation in various local and national workshops and consultations have further sharpened my program development, management and monitoring skills. I am a dynamic team leader leading the team of more than 80 people in the organisation.
I have done my masters’ in Counselling Psychology from Mumbai University and working with children has always been and will continue to be my passion. My educational background in Psychology and rich experience in development sector has helped me to understand and imbibe different related concepts in local as well as national context.
