I have worked on evaluating Dutch-funded CSOs in India for their organisational capacities and their contributions to civil society strengthening; this project was undertaken in partnership with the Centre for Development Innovations (CDI), University of Wageningen, The Netherlands. I was also involved in the impact assessment and documentation of an UNDP-IKEA funded Swayaam project on the Empowerment of Women in eastern Uttar Pradesh (Jaunpur, Mirzapur and Sant Ravidas Nagar). To that end I made field visits to the regions conducted FGDs with treatment and control groups, collected data through semi-structured interviews, organised workshops, did process tracing, and triangulation of qualitative data and reporting from the field. My current assignment involve concurrent monitoring of project Disha: Creating Employment and Entrepreneurship Opportunities for Women in India in partnership with UNDP, Xynteo and IDF where I am working as a coordinator for jobs and enterprise verticals which involves approving of pilot proposals based on the MIS requirements, preparing KPI (Key Performing Indicators) and MPR (Monthly Progress Reports) for the project partners, documenting case studies of the impacts of intervention of the pilot programme, doing field visits as part of concurrent monitoring and for building process maps.
