I am a self driven personality, taking challenging task and working with deadlines is my speciality.
I have done my B.Sc, Nutrition Dietetics and M.Sc., M.Phil Human Development and Family Studies with 12 + years of experience.
I have started my carrier, since, 2003 from the ground level as ‘Health and Education Coordinator’’ in Kalaiselvi Karunalaya Social Welfare Society’, Chennai. for the Gypsy community development program. I performed well and I had good growth and appreciation in that job.
I was impressed with the offer given by Sri Ramachandra Learning Centre for Special Children with Special Needs.SRMC & RI (DU), VIDYASUDHA Special School, Porur. Were I had been as Child Development Specialis,t I coordinated with other professional and with various department to bring progress with Special children. It’s an Early intervention Center, So, early identification and early intervention, parent counseling. Program planning, Assessments, Admissions etc., is my job. Bringing progress in Special children and smile on parents is the great achievement and happiness for me.
It was interesting and most satisfactory job and I enjoyed it.
After that I got married and I had 6 months break in my carrier, due to my husband’s job I moved to Coimbatore, there I worked in Nephrology department as Dept Manager for a short while. Again I am back to Chennai.
Joined in Life Help Centre for the Handicapped, Chennai. It’s was a wonderful experience; there I was as ‘Project Head’. All of the sudden I got huge responsibility, initially, I struggled a lot. But with self motivation and by management support, very soon I built myself strong in my carrier. I worked hard and I improvised my skills. I put lot of effort to reach my goals in my project. And my achievement in this job was that, I carried the project smoothly even under severe fund crisis. I learned a lot.
Headed different projects like Special school, Special education teachers training center, Vocational training centre, Supporting Govt School for Physically Challenged and for all the education Project’s Hostel and Staff Quarters management which is challenging as well as interesting too.
Apart from this, two income generating projects like highly equipped laundry and Mineral water unit.
I showed good progress in this organisation, due to my husband got transferred in his job, family pressure, made me to quit the job. I travelled along with him to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and presently I am in Bihar.
In all the three states, I serviced in schools as school Coordinator. Since the school authorities understood my circumstances and they are in need of my service, they were flexible. So, I managed working with them as well as I took treatment and now I am blessed with a baby girl. She is now three plus years.
And now, I am ready to take up courageous and challenging job to prove myself, who utilizes my knowledge and power.
