Professional Experience:

Wellbeing and social impact professional with 13+ years of experience at the intersection of psychology, education and instituitional development. Currently Head of School Wellbeing at The Teacher Foundation, leading multi-state initiatives that integrate social and emotional learning and wellbeing into school systems. Core team member for the development of the Indian Social and Emotional Learning Framework and lead on SAMBHAV, India's first multi-modal SEL assessment tool. Experienced in designing scalable programs, facilitating professional development for educators and building partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including the government. Co-convener on India's biggest Life Skills Collaborative and experienced in facilitating design, budgetary and operational processes for the collaborative. Combining therapeutic insight with systems thinking to strengthen learning environments, support educator capacity and advance holistic inclusive education across diverse educational ecosystems.

Education:

My academic journey brings together psychology, mental health and social development across Indian and global contexts. I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology from M.S. University , Vadodara, Gujarat. I have also completed an enriching year of Master's in Social work from New York University, NY, U.S.A. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology with English Literature and Economics from M.S. University, Gujarat. I have had a track recond of disctinction throughout my school, graduate and post-graduate education and been nominated for Gold Medal in Psychology. My internships during these years were also a greate source of learning as I undertook challenging projects in difficult neighbourhoods with marginalised and clinically diagnosed populations. The interdisciplinary foundation in my education helped me understand human behaviour, emotional wellbeing and social systems form a varied lens and this shaped my perspective towards learning and education. My latest committment to my personal and professional growth was completing foundation and advanced courses in Creative and Expressive Arts Based Therapy and starting of my independent professional practice. My learning journey integrates psychological insight with systems thinking, enabling me to work acorss individual, institutional and community contexts to design initiatives that support wellbeing, learning and human development.
