Professional Experience:
I have more than 11 years experience as a professional in development sector and has been working in close association with the NGOs, CBOs & Govt. institutions of Orissa.
As Project Director of a Support Service cell, I have provided support services to other NGOs, Govt. bodies, and community in areas of Natural Resource Management, Plantation, Watershed, Agriculture, Livelihood, Water & Sanitation, Community Health, Education, Social advocacy and Awareness. Support services includes planning and formulation of developmental projects, technical support during implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation, Training and Capacity Building, Research & Study, Micro Planning & PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal).
For the last two and half years as Forestry Officer, OTELP, I am directly involved in Forestry activities- nursery raising, Plantation, forest management, forest conservation, silvicultural measures and other Natural Resource Management activities, village level micro planning (Annual Work plan and Budget), facilitating in implementation and assessment of the action as per planning. As a Nodal Officer, I am managing total activities like Plantation, horticulture & Agriculture development, soil and water conservation measures, Gravity fed water supply systems, Livelihood Promotion and micro enterprises development, capacity building and skill development for self employment of that particular watershed blocks assigned.
Presently I finalized a research paper on “Application of Behaviour Modification Techniques to Promote Positive Community Leadership in context of OTELP Programme” which is involved in assessment of performance and modification of behavior of community leaders towards achieving the set performance.
