I also have been awarded IBIES Erasmus Mundas Scholarship 2014-2015 for contributing to higher research in the area of gender issues in Europe particularly in the area of gender policy in Europe and its impact on gender relations in most of the European countries with a particular focus on Sweden. All these are part of Ph.d research which is: ‘Gender-Mainstreaming Strategy in social and economic policies in Sweden-A model for the European Union’. Along working on this area, I got many opportunities to attend many national and international conferences within India and abroad where I came in touch with experts and thinkers on gender issues which tremendously helped me learning more about substantial aspects of gender equality and various strategies to address gender inequality. I have also bagged some publications related to gender issues in Europe and India.
