Professional Experience:
I am a public health professional with over 10 years of cross-sectoral experience leading and delivering impactful programs across India and Australia. My work spans government, non-profit, and academic settings, with a focus on health equity, digital innovation, systems strengthening, and stakeholder engagement.
Originally trained as a dentist, I transitioned into public health to pursue meaningful, systems-level impact. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Public Health from the University of Queensland, which equipped me with strong foundations in epidemiology, policy analysis, and implementation science.
In Australia, I led the strategy and management of a $50 million national research grants portfolio as Team Leader – Research Grants at the National Heart Foundation. I have also served in the Northern Territory Government, where I led the territory-wide STI and BBV strategy, introducing digital tools and M&E systems across 50+ remote Aboriginal communities. These roles sharpened my leadership in cross-cultural, fast-paced environments, and reinforced my commitment to equity-focused public health.
In India, I’ve worked on maternal health, digital health, and behavior change initiatives with state NHMs, NGOs, and donors. I’ve led program redesigns, capacity building, and strategic planning with a strong focus on outcomes and partnership.
Across roles, I bring expertise in M&E, research translation, proposal development, and policy advocacy. I am highly proficient in MS Office, Excel, CRM tools, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis platforms.
My approach blends empathy, strategic clarity, and results-orientation. I thrive in mission-driven teams and am now returning to India, eager to apply my global experience to deliver sustainable impact at scale.
