Professional Experience:

A dedicated public health professional with a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), complemented by over two years of clinical dentistry experience. I specialize in maternal and child health (MCH), mental health, nutrition, and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), with a strong foundation in public health policy and systems strengthening.

Currently, as Consultant – Lead, Training and Quality at IConcern, I lead training and quality assurance for a gender equity and skill development program targeting children and adolescents in low-resource urban and semi-urban settings. I oversee program monitoring and evaluation (M&E), conduct public health training sessions, and manage stakeholder engagement with NGOs and community partners to ensure program scalability and impact.

Previously, as a Public Health fellow with Bal Raksha Bharat as known as (Save the Children) National Support Office, I design study tools, conduct data analytics, and synthesize research to enhance child protection and nutrition outcomes, including evaluating the Government of India’s Poshan Tracker application and developing research papers on Infant and Young Child Feeding. My prior work with the National Health Mission in Ranchi involved monitoring NCD programs and cervical cancer screening, while my research on mental, neurological, and substance abuse services under the Ayushman Bharat program demonstrated my ability to navigate complex healthcare systems through field-based data collection and stakeholder engagement.

With advanced skills in epidemiological research, data synthesis, and stakeholder collaboration, I have led training sessions and workshops for health officials, corporate employees, and community groups on mental health, maternal and child health, hygiene, and NCDs. My experience liaising with government bodies, NGOs, and private partners, combined with my clinical background, equips me to address multifaceted public health challenges effectively. I excel in translating complex data into actionable insights, fostering interdisciplinary partnerships, and driving community health improvements. I am eager to leverage my expertise in dynamic public health roles to deliver impactful, sustainable solutions.

Education:

I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal (2022–2024), where I developed expertise in health policy, program evaluation, and mental health services. My academic journey involved hands-on research, including evaluating mental, neurological, and substance abuse services under the Ayushman Bharat program in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

I also earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences, Lucknow (2013–2019). This foundation provided me with a strong understanding of clinical practices and patient care.

To enhance my professional skill set, I pursued several development courses, including project development from McMaster University, Canada; academic writing at Manipal Centre for European Studies, India; and scientific writing at Maastricht University, Netherlands.

These educational experiences have equipped me with analytical skills, research acumen, and a multidisciplinary perspective to address public health challenges effectively.
