Worked for a year as a Project Coordinator in Delhi Disaster Management Authority (HQ), and my work encompassed handling day to day administrative matters of the department and activities related to disaster management like mock drills, documentation and report making, conferences, workshops, sensitization and awareness generation programs. I am currently working as a Training Coordinator in a Consultancy firm called the Global Rescue Consultants Pvt. Ltd in New Delhi. In the organization i am working on the School Safety Program, which is based on the guidelines of the National School Safety Program (NSSP) of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the apex organization in India dealing with matters related to Disaster Management. I have also done Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Analysis (HRVA) of few of the schools in the area, and conducted training, mock drills and awareness sessions in the schools. During this period I also focused on key aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Capacity Building, Audit & Survey and Resource Planning. Apart from these, I also handled other day to day assignments and documentation work of the organization with good efficiency.

(b) Participated in the Training Program on ‘People with Disabilities in Disasters’ held from 11-15 June 2012 in the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Delhi.
(c) Participated in the Training Program on ‘Basic Managerial Competence in Incident Response during Disaster’ held from 18-22 June 2012 in the Directorate of Training, Union Territories Civil Services (UTCS), Delhi.
(d) Participated in the Training Programme on ‘Risk Resistant Building Codes & Rapid Visual Screening’ held from 15-18 March 2011 in the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Delhi.
