Professional Experience: |
Digitally mobilising rural youth in India, developing communication stategy & content to facilitate real-world impact and developing online communities and keeping them engaged. These have been some of the most valued experiences in my career as a communications and content strategist.
I started my career as a journalist and shortly after, decided to move industries. Over the course of my career, I have found myself steadily moving towards applying my skills, to furthering work that creates sustainable-social and real world impact.
When choosing to move away from the corporate world, I dedicated the next few years to understanding how communications and program development worked within the political and social sector at the grassroot / rural level. This helped me sharpen my approach to understanding stakeholders at different levels and the significance of being consistently relevant and relatable, while developing program strategy and a communication narrative.
With that in mind, I find myself seeking out opportunities where I can apply this experience and learning, to work that creates real-world impact and where communication plays a key role to help create sustained and long-lasting change.

Education: |
Always inclined towards the Arts, it was the stream I chose for myself in school. Thereafter I went to Delhi University where I did my Bachelors in English Literature.
I went on to get a Masters Diploma in Print Journalism from the Manorama School of Communication in Kerala.

Awarded the Silver Award, Vdonxt, Brand Video (2018) for a music video conceptualised and executed for Wash United for Menstrual Hygiene Day in 2018.
