Research: Conducted quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis for scientific papers, IRB approvals for research studies, identification of priority areas for documentation and research. Training: Conducted several training workshops/seminars on qualitative research methodology, data analysis, and use of software such as Atlas-ti, Epi-Info, SPSS and data entry package in PERSEUS software compatible for using PDA. Trained research staff and Village Health Care providers on tools for data collection and intervention curriculum. Monitoring: Designed several operations of research studies in the field of Reproductive Health, Family Planning, HIV /AIDS; Developed, managed and analyzed MIS program. Development of monitoring frame work and regular feed back to the team on data monitoring. Evaluation: Evaluation of Targeted interventions program of Family Planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health, effect of RCT studies. Publication and documentation, proposal writing: Authored/co-authored over 35 scientific research papers published in national and international journals, contributed in developing scientific proposals for funding, prepared reports, guidelines, training manual, IEC material, policy documents, developing intervention and questionnaires for conducting research and sampling. Dissemination: Organized/actively participated in workshops, conferences to disseminate research findings, presented research findings in national/international conferences. Policies and Guidelines: in the areas of population, reproductive health, youth sexuality, male participation and gender equity. Collaboration: Government, donor organizations (national and international), NGOs, Medical colleges, State Health Departments including WHO-SEARO, UCSD, IIPS, TISS, DHS Maharashtra, MSACS, MDACS and Mumbai Municipal Corporation for advocacy, capacity building and research projects and providing regular analytical updates to partner organizations. Leadership: Lead projects in the field of Sexual & Reproductive Health, Family Planning, Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health, HIV/AIDS and Gender based Violence on the components of Research, Intervention and Evaluation; recruited and supervised field staff and operations. Capacity building: Trained academicians and project staff on research methods for data collection, qualitative data analysis, and Monitoring and Evaluation.
