1. Dooars, West Bengal
I conducted a case study among the Tea Garden workers mainly from Santhal community in Dooars, West Bengal, to assist in the development policies to strengthen the communities’ capacity building.
Designed the questionnaire and conducted one-to-one semi-structured interview for data collection. The observational method was also used to collect data.
I analyzed the data through thematic analysis to make decisions regarding developmental and transformational policies using critical thinking.
Developed short-and mid-term strategies for community development to attract small-scale businesses.
To strengthen the group’s position, opinions and support from grassroots leaders were gathered.
The findings of the research conducted over eleven months were handed over to the relevant authorities via organizational standards.
2. Jehanabad, Bihar
Research conducted using Ethnography among the Ravidas community in the time frame over a period of one year.
Teaching the youth about the strategies for driving discussion and achieving social changes.
Community difficulties to achieve their potential capacity were identified through participant observation, and interviews.
The data were analyzed, which assisted the young people in determining the skills they needed through capacity-building planning and providing effective solutions to the questions and concerns that were voiced.
Maintained optimal levels of communication with team members as well as the community stakeholders in order to successfully complete the project, which required close collaboration.
Designed a transformational model for the community. The result of the research was submitted and shared with the community leaders for their transformational development.
