My background of professional work in Telecommunications sector clubbed with my recently acquired skills and experience in the developmental sector has helped develop a more indepth understanding of the social and development sector in India and elsewhere. My experience of operations transformation, process consulting and project management are something which are applicable to all sectors. I have refreshed it with a e-course in results based management from UNICEF.
My work in social sector includes working on - public elementary education transformation with Kaivalya Education Foundation; Public health capacity building project management with Saksham Prerak, TISS; community level engagement with adolescent girls and boys during my internship with rights based organisation Vacha; Livelihood and capacity building of women in distress with Kshamata and subsequent work in Mahila Samakhya on the Mahila Shashaktikaran Kendra Project by Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives which was a resident counsellor providing shelter, counselling services, livelihood and life skills training and legal services.
With more than 5 years of varied experience in social development sector, I am certain that I would be a valuable asset to any organisation looking for employing my skills and knowledge to their best.
Moreover, I excel in the following areas: Research Design and Analysis and Report Writing. I have a very strong educational foundation excelling in my engineering, management and then I did my Masters in Social Work (Women Centered Practice) from TISS, Mumbai in May 2018 and have received best student award. I have also qualified NET in Social work.
