Professional Experience: |
I’m currently managing the BoP Innovation Centre’s India program as the lead in-country representative. In this capacity, I’ve organized a consortium of eminent reputed global companies—marketing agencies, research agencies, financial institutions, and new-age tech companies to design, deliver, and deploy sustainable and equitable growth projects in India’s BoP segment through inclusive business models. Leading this consortium, I oversee the creation and execution of projects using the principle of human-centric design thinking towards achieving the strategic goals and milestones. I monitor and evaluate the India operations to assess the performance of the consortium members and projects using data-driven analytics. I advise on strategy creation and design that is subsequently translated with my consultation to implementation framework and plans for action under my steer and leadership.
- Currently, managing multiple concurrently ongoing projects under four pertinent program areas in 4–5 states in India—Inclusive Businesses, Digitalization, Women Empowerment, and Sustainability
- Establishing partnerships and collaboration with the multi-national stakeholders—marketing agencies, research agencies, financial institutions, and new-age tech companies—for service delivery in India’s BoP customer segment
- Leveraging established strategic alliances to design, develop, and deploy effective strategic services and solutions by employing principles of business innovation, sustainable marketing, and design thinking practices
In the past, during my stint with MART, I developed targeted strategies and business models for development initiatives and ventures promoted by Corporates (such as Amazon, Tata Steel, Tata Chemicals, GE Healthcare, Philips, Mahindra Innovation Lab, Novo Nordisk, Essilor, Tata Trust), Not-For-Profit entities (such as Mlinda Foundation, Naandi Water, Danone Communities, 2.5 NVG, HCL Foundation, Grameen Kalyan), Public Sector Agencies (such as DFAT, AMERA), and Multi-Lateral Aid Agencies (such as USAID, GIZ, BPP). These strategies strived to withstand and cut through the intricacies of issues prevalent in the rural and semi-urban marketplace and effect pronounced social impact. Addressing global challenges in the agriculture, food, health, retail, and water sectors.
