Masters in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune. Dissertation thesis focused on studying evolution of Urban sanitation policies in India with special reference to slums in Pune. Studied different models of social upliftment done by NGO’s through extensive field visits, interactions and research with their primary beneficiaries in the areas of waste management, urban sanitation and mainstreaming of children of sex workers. Trained as a researcher and writer who closely observed and studied the work done by different social sector organizations in improving urban development issues in Pune and wrote research papers as part of the course based on these experiences.
