Professional Experience: |
I started my career in litigation with Keystone Partners, Bengaluru. I moved into the human rights space, doing pro-bono litigation and advocacy for Human Rights Law Network, Kolkata where I represented marginalised persons, including Rohingya refugees, persons with disabilities and transgender persons before lower courts and the Calcutta High Court. I have also carried out research, advocacy and pro-bono litigation with the Centre for Law and Policy Research, Bengaluru. Currently, I am working on a couple of research projects in human trafficking, with expertise built through my time at ChangeMantras, Kolkata. I work on these issues with SANJOG, Kolkata and independently - and I also carry out research on reproductive rights, transgender citizenship and health laws with the Centre for Justice Law and Society (CJLS), New Delhi.
