Professional Experience: |
I have worked for four years in the field of demand-side management. My major focus while working was on project implementation for energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy and with focus on sustainable habitat including cities, transport and buildings. Policy evaluation and implementation for climate change adaptation, green building design, capacity building and assessing state preparedness for disaster resilience was part of my job. Further additional responsibilities included personnel management, budgets, expenditure and operations for the program.
Comprehensive knowledge towards innovation and governance frameworks, transition theory, stakeholder management and knowledge for providing strategic advice are my key strengths. Integrated sustainability assessments and basic environmental law, economics and carbon reduction and offsetting mechanisms were a part of my education.
During my work, providing resource and energy optimisation assessments to the client as well as forecasting and cost-benefit analysis for demand-side management were a part of my job. My responsibilities required to work closely with government and multi-lateral professionals dominantly for business development and strategies. Being a part of various proposals and projects, excellent proposal and report writing skillset were gained. Planning, coordinated and presenting at many workshops and events, were part of all of the major projects handled by me and therefore it led to the development of business relationships at many levels. I was involved with procurement and establishment of project management units.
Being in a position to work with multi-disciplinary teams, developing personal relations has always been my strong point.
Critical times call for work pressure handling and multi-tasking, which are a part of my characteristics. My people's management skills have always been recognised and my technical, research and analytical skills are an asset for me to work in research, consultancy or as an analyst. Further, I am a quick learner and can equip myself with new skills easily and proficient with digital system tools.
My habit of picking up accents and learning new languages allows me to remove the language barriers and to work across countries.
