Karmaar Crafts, as Founder (Sole Proprietor) (September 2019 – Present)
Founded the company and led the efforts to make every artisan of Karmaar financially independent by creating a holistic development system. Negotiate deals and establish partnerships with diverse firms - insurance firms, law firms, and media firms for various marketing, PR, and Sales activities.
Achievements: We were recently awarded an incubation opportunity with the Startup Oasis under their programme Her & Now Cohort 3.0. It is a seven-month programme for women from tier II and III cities in the North Eastern Region, Rajasthan and Telangana, who want to set up their own enterprise. The programme offers critical business-skill modules, self-improvement learning and mentoring.
SBI Youth for India, as SBI Youth for India Fellow (August 2018 - September 2019)
One among 50 chosen from 10,000 applicants to work towards rural development. To work with the community to solve the most pressing problems with the support of the partnered NGOs. I created an alternative source of livelihood through bamboo craft-making for tribal women labourers in rural Odisha, set up a small but sustainable enterprise. I also set up a Mamta Sakhi group through Anganwadi centres to discuss pregnant women's health issues and lactating mothers experience.
Ranosys Technologies Pvt. Ltd, As Business Development Executive (February 2018 - June 2018)
I was part of a trained pre-sales team involved in creating business opportunities for the organization. I was instrumental in building a database of prospective clients and running an outbound email campaign. I worked closely with the COO and Executive Director, and stakeholders to lead strategic reviews and facilitate data analysis.
