I am a Development Professional and Public Health Researcher with over 8 years of fairly diverse project implementation and research experience in the Empowered Action Group states and Maharashtra in India. I finished my Doctoral research in 2018 (2013-18) on the cultural adaptability of Anderson's behavioral model of health access on the particularly vulnerable tribes of West Bengal, India. I have also worked with the Indian Council of Medical Research for a brief period as a postdoctoral fellow. My research was based on assessing the factors leading to low utilization of maternal and child healthcare among tribal populations in Maharashtra, India. At present I am working as a Senior Behavioral Scientist with Johns Hopkins Center for Infectious Diseases in India,Johns Hopkins University-B.J.Medical College Clinical Research Site (BJMC-JHU-CRS),Pune,India.
