Around 21 years of diverse experience in entrepreneurship (co-founder of HandsOfIndia (HOI), a social enterprise which promoted livelihoods in rural and semi-urban areas through the HOI brand specializing in rural-artisan made handcrafted women’s clothing, advertising, market research, IT applications architecture and project management, digital advertising and social media marketing. Experience includes client management, programming, team leading, requirements analysis and system architecture design (eBay, Oppenheimer Funds and Vodafone Germany), creating and implementing rural communication strategies (Hindustan Lever, Dabur and ACC Cements), and other general management tasks like delivery leadership, project planning, estimation, risk analysis, process formulation & implementation and quality control. Extensive experience of Social Media Marketing using Facebook/Instagram, developed HandsOfIndia as a brand known for its quality, pioneering products, stellar customer support and 360 degree fairness – to the producers, customers and the environment.
