Professional Experience:
I am a post graduate in Commerce with over fourteen years of work experience in finance, administration and procurement functions of nonprofit sector.

Had begun my carrier with Chartered Accountant as an intern in the year 2000 and later worked for Aga Khan Rural Support Program, CARE India for 8 years before moving to Social Entrepreneurs Foundation India.

Currently manage wide range of accounting activities such as maintaining account books, processing payable and receivable transactions, oversight of expenses, preparing donor financial statement& reports, manage cash and bank operations, reviewing project activities in term of finance, staff salary disbursement, tax and donor compliances, maintaining records and responsible stewardship of finances at project and state office. I am also responsible for helping program team in preparing budgets, reviewing and forecasting of expenses and seeking project extensions.

Have experience working in different state offices and headquarters and also working with global accounting team (Shared Service Centre –SSC) for reconciliation of country office accounts receivable & payable with other country and donor.

Have adequate experience in ensuring proper close out of projects, transfer and disposal of assets, preserving financial statements and vouchers, besides commencing project operation in new locations.

Familiar and have expertise on managing and operating several software like, PeopleSoft –Oracle, Tally ERP,& Scala in besides having proficiency in managing applications to process payroll, maintain assets &property, tracking procurement and sub grant management software.

I am also serve as front line contact point for banks, auditors and all tax authorities, I am familiar with several donor financial and procurements guidelines and policies among them notable grants managed are: USAID, DFID, UNICEF, USDA, EC, BMGF, Ford Foundation, Cargill Foundation and Govt. agencies.

Widely appreciated for managing grants without any adverse audit observation and ensuring 100% compliance on grant management besides helping national office in resolving account and audit issues. I always update my knowledge and skills on accounting software, tax policies particularly related to not for profit sector.
