• Management of patients in outpatient department with special focus on communicable and non-communicable diseases of public health importance. • Utilized the critical thinking skills for diagnosis, conducted rigorous monitoring of the patients, recording of vitals and informing patients and their relatives about the progress of the disease with appropriate guidance in response to inquiries. • Ensure notification of vector-borne (Malaria, chikungunya), water-borne (Infective Hepatitis, enteric and diarrheal) diseases, pneumonia and measles for timely interventions. • Micro-planning and co-ordination with different stakeholders for implementation of National Health Programs with focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health, nutrition; National Tuberculosis Elimination Program, National Vector Borne Diseases Control Program, IDSP and others. • Developed the system of recording each child immunization details in register by tracking from BCG at birth through DPT-Booster at five years of age. The system was acknowledged by the health authority and implemented in all other PHCs in Surat Municipal Corporation. • Regular analysis of the surveillance data, evaluation of program based indicators, identification of the bottlenecks, revision and innovation of strategies to achieve the results. • Capacity building of staff through periodic training (often on spot during supervision), motivation, positive internal feedbacks, and problem-solving. Certified trainer (Government of Gujarat, India) for the Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) under population based screening for non communicable diseases. Trained more 100 ASHA. • Presently working as zonal co-ordinator for Covid-19 epidemic cell since August 2020. Daily analysis of surveillance data pertaining to Covid 19 and suggesting appropriate recommendations for containment. • General administrative responsibilities. • Demonstrated ability of doing research study for issues of public health importance, manuscript writing and publication.

I completed my Masters in Public Health from National Institute of Epidemiology-Indian Council Of Medical Research, Chennai with Grade A in Epidemiology.
