A) Policy Analysis & Formulation:
1) Formulated NHPC’s Sustainable Development Policy and Combined Policy on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
2) Analysed and revised the policy on Local Area Development Fund, Hydropower Purchase
Obligation and ‘Stranded gas based Power Plants in close coordination with Ministry of Power, GoI.
B) Communication, Liaison & Capacity Building
1) Managed training program for employees on sustainability in NHPC.
2) Successfully coordinated with various power stations and of NHPC for implementation of Sustainability programs of NHPC and achieved an excellent rating from Ministry of Power.
3) Analysis of environmental issues of NHPC’s case in Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, regarding
4) Environment and Forest clearances of Hydro Projects in Alaknanada and Bhagirathi basins.
C) Independent worker-Environment and Social Safeguards
1) Successfully implemented the environment and resettlement & rehabilitation plans of Chutak Hydro Electric Project (44MW), NHPC Ltd, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
2) Successfully executed land acquisition and secured various sanctions for Chutak HEP from various Government Departments.
3) Finalization of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Plan for 250 Project Affected Families in consultation with various stakeholders and concerned State Administration at Chamera-III Power Station.
4) Completed due diligence for 78 Rehabilitation and Resettlement related court cases at Hon’ble Session Court and 4 Court cases at Hon’ble High Court, Shimla, India.
5) Execution of Environment Management Plan related works for Chutak HEP and Chamera-III PS.
D)Project: As a part of my MSc Thesis I have worked on creating bridge between Actuarial Science and Geohazard risk focusing on 2013 Canmore Flood in Alberta, Canada.

I have pursued Masters in Risk Management from Geography Department, Durham U.K (2018-19). As well as Masters in Environmental Sciences from JNU, New Delhi(2003-05).
I am also aspiring student of actuarial science and data science looking forward for DS application in climate change and environmental issues.
