Affiliations and Achievements:
Social enterprise:
While I worked for a social enterprise, clients list was endless. Example: Unilever (HUL), Honda, Hitachi, Loreal, Larsen & Toubro, IOCL (Assam), Total Oil, and FAG Bearing amongst many others. However, to my surprise, my employer did not have a strong processes and systems and hence lead to revenue leakage and customer dissatisfaction. I was new employee and made sure, travelled across our offices across India (Assam, HP, Haryana, MP, Maharashtra, TamilNndu, Kerala, Goa, Karnataka, UP, Gujarat and Rajasthan), met the team, understood the As-Is process.
Within couple of months, developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) so that even in a remote place like Digboi (ASSAM), the team knows their role. This helped in to avoid data fudging, compliance, better client satisfaction and increase in revenue and retention of clients. Example: A multi million rupee project in Kerala (GOVT, EDUCATION DEPT), managed by another team. There was a crisis in the project and Govt wanted to cancel the contract. I sensed the situation (existing team is unable to deliver) and discussed with my manager and CEO and they got convinced on my capability and my crisis management skills. I took up the challenge and relocated (without family) to Kerala for 4 months to do the damage control. Did a feasibility study, prepared a project plan, and met all stake holders including Govt (Sector heads, Secretory to GoK (IAS), Students, and Industry Associations like CII, FICCI Kochi, and then no looking back. Travelled across Kerala from Trivendrum to Kasargod to meet 250+ prospective employers. Later we provided Internship and placement for those interested candidates and received partial amount from govt. I take pride, two of my candidates whom I placed in Jewelry design factory, Cochin, there designs are sold in Gulf countries.
