Teach for India Program Manager Coach (April 2017 to Present) 1. In the absence of City Leadership assumed leadership of Hyderabad city operations for 6 months (April 1, 2017 to October ,2017), and led city to highest literacy across 7 cities. (1.1 years of Growth in Literacy) 2. Coached and Managed 12 Program managers across 2 years, managing around 150 Fellows, across 3500 students, within the city of Hyderabad – towards excellent educational outcomes 3. Worked on Strategy planning and execution for the city ensuring strongest fellow culture across the country as measured by the Fellow Engagement Survey 4. Selected to be School Leader of Hyderabad City site - leading 48 Fellows at Teach for India Summer Institute 5. Facilitated trainings for teacher coaches on coaching, leadership and technical training (Pedagogy and Content)
Teach for India Program Manager (May 2015 – March 2017) 1. Led around 25 Fellows over two years towards achieving transformational student outcomes, by developing their teaching practices and working on their leadership development. One of them got selected for the most prestigious award for teachers in Teach for India- The Transformational Impact Award 2. Had the highest outcomes across 10 PMs in the city in Secondary English 3. Selected as the Student Leadership Manager to lead 50 students towards bringing change in their school and community by spreading awareness about the Right to Education Act and enabling 120 students across the school to master basic literacy skills by a peer learning model called Lead to Speak 4. Organized the first ever student leadership conference (Ignite, April 2017) in Hyderabad and Teach for India for 150 children 5. Facilitated core technical training sessions for teacher development for 130 Fellows in the city 6. Facilitated learning spaces for 25 fellows towards their reflection and leadership development 7. Selected to select fellows for the Teach for India fellowship by following a rigorous rubric and conducting day long assessment centers 8. Selected to be part of the core group to be part of Strategic planning for the city based on ability to provide key insights for City Program
Teach for India Fellow Advisor (June 2014 to April 2015) 1. Led learning circles, discussion groups and training sessions for first year fellows as a part of my role as a Fellow Advisor. 2. Supported 3 first year Fellows by reviewing their lesson plans and assessments to enable strong student outcomes in their classrooms 3. Led 29 students on growth of reading comprehension leading them from Emergent to Beginning and Developing, and a progress to 2 bands overall in Mathematics 4. Selected to be part of the Good to Great track – a city wide initiative which allows and supports fellows to push their limits and achieve greater success based on outstanding teacher practices
