I have over 14 years of experience in the development sector. In the course of my work, I have worked closely with NGOs, civil society organizations, government, media houses, educational institutions and individuals who are involved in development works.
I have designed and lead programmes and campaigns on Media, Youth and Inclusive Citizenship, Entrepreneurship and SDGs. My work with the media involves engaging with different forms of media to mainstream the development and social change discourses. And my work on youth citizenship and entrepreneurship involves providing a framework and opportunities to channelize strong and socially responsible leadership among young people. As part of one of my latest assignments, I was involved in designing and leading a national campaign on youth leadership and SDGs focused on demystifying the goals for the communities.
I have designed and implemented projects and campaigns, raised funds and build capacities of NGOs, media personnel and individuals around these issues in India. I have also been a part of various core groups on media, youth and reforms etc in India. I am member of governing board of two development organizations.
My strength lies in designing programmes and campaigns, communication, media relation and advocacy, networking & alliance building and fund raising.
