1. Sonit converges & leverages his passion and flair for creativity and translates that experience into cutting edge enforcement solutions , business continuity, resilience, justice , investigations and intelligence with proven track record of protecting profits, profiling human resource, resolving conflicts , plugging revenue leakages & exponentially improving the bottom line for large organisations expanding their businesses in aviation and logistics (air cargo, road, railways, maritime shipping & warehousing).
2. In his previous role, as the HoD in 2009, he founded and spearheaded a vertical at PAN India level for FSC. FSC is a Public Ltd Logistics Company & was initially funded by Hongkong's 13 Billion USD company Li & Fung & by 7 Billion USD company -Future Group. Sonit has been in special forces & is now concurrently serving & associated with an Infantry Territorial Army Battalion and with Stellar Value Chains. He founded a vertical in Stellar in 2017. Stellar is backed by New York’s PE firm- Warburg Pincus who have invested > 70 billion USD in 40 countries.
3. He started his career in hospitality with IHCL,Tata Group & then with The Oberoi Group before joining Army in 1999, the year India won the Kargil war. He forayed into aviation sector & is the only Indian who holds the following skill configuration: Counter hijack NSG commando Instructor ; Pilot-Single engine aircraft ; AVSEC ;Air Defence & Missile tech & Airport access control .
4. He is passionate about path-breaking stories,criminal psychology, screenwriting,poetry, philosophy, cinematography, animal planet & multifarious research ideas which have profound impact. Sonit is an avid sportsman in multiple sports & treasures the therapeutic value of humour, music & dance. Sonit’s parents served the nation as senior Army Doctors & administrators of exceptional repute & now both continue as philanthropists in rendering medical aid/ consulting through govt & charitable hospitals.
5. Succeeded in bringing about synergy and consolidation resulting in decrease of logistics cost from 4.19 to 2.12 % of the revenue . Excel at supply chain sustainability, project and financial management. Mitigating violations related to integrity, procurement, risks to human life, goods in transit, warehouses, distribution centres and bringing about social empowerment for blue collar staff.
6. Promote business continuity, customer satisfaction and develop compliance driven investigations and conducting risk mitigating using BI & BCP and develop disruptive out of the box innovative research ideas.
