Professional Experience:
I have build my professional career over a variety of roles and industries — interdisciplinarity that I consider to be invaluable in any type of work. With strong background in strategy, I have conducted numerous research projects, collecting and analysing data, creating issue-based, market-based or benchmarking (best-practice) reports, followed by visual and layout design, type-setting, and client presentations.

Since starting my MA degree, I have been working as a freelance consultant on specific projects. The scope of the projects was mostly revolving around research (design, conducting, analysis, writing and design), and I completed assignments for: Berlin-based consultancies like Mandalah (conscious innovation consultancy), intraprenör (organisational design consultancy) or Transperfect (global localisation service). The clients ranged from corporate (Mercedes-Benz, Deutsche Bahn, Nivea, Erste Bank, Lufthansa, Red Bull), to local schools and NGOs. As a freelance researcher, I have also supported global public policy think tanks (GPPi), NGOs and international organisations like UN DESA (e-Government global research projects for Poland in 2015, 2017 and 2019).

Before starting my MA degree I worked as a strategy consultant, and in the area of marketing. My journey started in London in 2012, where I worked as a brand specialist/ambassador Mash Marketing consultancy to execute broad scope of innovative marketing strategies. I further shifted to Vietnam and completed a global management internship with AIESEC, where I worked for a private school helping with teaching, marketing to new students and overall business strategy. After returning to Europe, I have moved to Hamburg, Germany and completed a 6-month internship for a global advertising agency TBWA, where I was responsible for research design and conducting qualitative and quantitative research for clients like GSK, Mondelez and Nestle Group. Upon completing the internship I have received an offer to work for a Berlin-based consultancy as a strategy consultant. While there, I have participated and later on conducted numerous projects - being in charge of research design, execution and analysis of global business intelligence (business model, segments, strategy) & their customers’ needs and behaviours. Clients included Vodafone, Nivea, Lufthansa, Red Bull, Mercedes Benz. During that time I was also asked to be the lead in setting up a marketing and business development department, for a Berlin-based data research startup (Dalia Research), where I worked until I started my MA degree in 2016.

Despite a perhaps a perhaps slightly non-conventional path of my career, throughout the years my main drive remained research and society — and taking the insights to find actionable solutions for a better world.
My Master’s Degree course (Global Studies) is an interdisciplinary course that addresses issues concerning inequality, social injustice, political instability and much more — and placing them in context of globalisation as well as other intra- and supranational processes. The programme's transformative agenda is committed to a critical approach that aims to rethink and restructure social science research in a global context. It is conducted and created in cooperation with 5 public research Universities - Humboldt University Berlin (Germany), JNU, New Delhi (India) FLACSO Buenos Aires (Argentina), Chulalongkorn Bangkok (Thailand), and University of Pretoria (South Africa).

For the past two semesters, I have been a student at Jawaharlal Nehru University. While there, I took a wide range of MA and MPhil courses, between the topics of labour, gender, sociology, and political and economic studies. Based on the knowledge I gained, I have developed my MA thesis research proposal — one that traces the erosion of labour rights in Germany, places it in the global, regional and local political economy, demonstrating the arising inequality, and focusing on how it is mostly the already-disadvantaged that are affected — women, minorities, migrants, youth.

While studying my MA, I have been an active member of the course community — advising the incoming students, mentoring individual students, guiding the groups on arrival at foreign Universities, as well as contributing to further development of the course. My current GPA from Humboldt stands at 100% (A+ average) and from JNU at A- average.

I have completed my high school in Poznan, Poland, where aside from completing the full national curriculum, I have taken extended courses in Languages, History, Politics, Philosophy and Literature. During the schools years I was a chairman of the Art Department, a member of the Teacher-Students Liaison Committee and the School Representative and the Head Speaker.

I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at the London Metropolitan University (the UK). The motivation to start this course came from a strong interest to understand one industry in detail, yet soon after starting the course I have realised that I am driven back again to my roots of deepening the understanding of society. This resulted in adjusting my curriculum away from Marketing to discover other aspects of that course at the intersection of economy and society. This allowed me to find an area that to this day interests me the most — global value chains, sustainability, inequality and labour issues — placed as a concretely applied theory for an actionable unders
Affiliations and Achievements:
Throughout the years I have remained an active member of the civil society. In 2016, I have been one of the founders of Civil March for Aleppo. Along with an international and multicultural group of activists, we organised and facilitated a grassroots movement of 4000 civilians walking from Berlin to border with Syria, in order to express solidarity with civilian victims and raise global awareness of the conflict. The initiative was nominated to Nobel Peace Prize 2018.

Previously, I have been a Consulting Director of 180 Degrees Consulting in Berlin. 180 DC is worlds largest pro-bono consultancy. It recruits top-performing final-year University students that are committed to social justice, trains them as consultants, and links them with non-profit organisations that need professional consulting support. The students receive continuous training, and they are monitored and evaluated field professionals and senior consultants. In this organisation I was managing the clients and respective projects that had 5 teams of 5 people each. I have also trained and monitored the students. Clients included organisations like UN’s IOM, Ecosia, Kiron University, Migration Hub, Jugend Rettet.

Furthermore, from 2015 I have been actively participating in various Berlin and German initiatives that work with refugee rights and assistance — especially in the area of gender, access to work and education and decent living conditions.
