Professional Experience: |
With 15+ years of experience in L&D (learning & development) – earlier as a corporate & presently as a freelance professional – Rahul is a lifelong learner who loves to contribute in a variety of organizational settings.
Rahul started his career as a teacher in Political science. After working in a training set-up, he completed a full time MBA in HR from SIMSR, Mumbai in 2005. A corporate work-stint with Motilal Oswal followed in which Rahul was responsible for soft-skills & behavioural training.
After working for over 5 years, in 2011, Rahul ventured out to be an independent learning & development specialist. In time and with effort, he gravitated towards the space where three questions intersect -How leaders lead, how teams work, how organisations change. Rahul has since then gone about building capability and acquiring experience in this space. He is now an executive coach, organizational consultant, leadership assessor, trainer, facilitator, writer and a teacher.
In coaching, Rahul has two coaching certifications. He is a certified coach in Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching. And he is a qualified coach in Power Coaching with Mind-Kinetics.
In assessments, Rahul is associated with DDI, a global leadership consulting firm.
In training & facilitation, Rahul has conducted programs for diverse clientele. The programs include conventional training topics, corporate employability initiatives, skill development and systems thinking.
In teaching, he has helped students learn ‘organisational behaviour’ at a B-school as visiting faculty. Rahul has also taken a module on ‘communications’ as a visiting faculty at the NM School of design.
The clients that Rahul has worked with – either individually or through empanelled contributions – include Dow Corning, HCL, Kirloskar Brothers, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Motors, Raymond, Lupin, Pidilite, Phillips, MTDC, Union Bank & governmental agencies.
Recently, Rahul has worked with Gyanodaya – Aditya Birla Global Centre for Leadership Learning – to help design the learning response in the wake of Digital & Analytics.
Currently, Rahul is associated with Integriti – an OD consulting company – as a consultant.
If there is one thing that has impacted Rahul the most, it has been Peter Drucker. Drucker’s ideas & insights have shaped Rahul’s thought-process & his work in a fundamental way.
