As an advocate, over the past decade, I have specialized in public policy and litigation on behalf of victims of human trafficking. In the next decade, I desire to gain expertise in the field of ‘business and human rights’ and ‘criminal justice reform’. |

Professional Experience: |
As an advocate, in the last ten years,I have represented victims of both forms of human trafficking -sex trafficking and labour trafficking in courts across India. I have also collaborated with Central and State Governments to create mechanisms to increase access to justice for human trafficking victims. This includes strengthening the capacity of implementing agencies through trainings, developing resource materials and providing legal input in public policy and legislation. I have also had the opportunity to contribute to conversations surrounding corporate sustainability and ethical sourcing. This is an area that interests me, in addition to criminal justice reform.
