I started my career at a corporate firm (Lifestyle International Pvt. Ltd.) and worked until i achieved the position of the assistant Planner at in the Planning Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
• Merchandise management- Stock allocations monitoring, ensuring timely replenishment and all stores have adequate inventory.
• Demand Forecasting and ordering the stocks to achieve the planned budget.
• Assortment Planning & Grading stores on product level based on sales trend.
• Optimizing inventory through store to store transfers & liquidation Plans.
• Planning promotions to liquidate aged and lower sell thru stocks- season sale.
After that i switched back to the design fraternity to hone the skills that i acquired in my bachelor's degree. Currently i am managing the overall production of the craft based project while working with an NGO (AMBALIKA).
