Professional Experience:
As can be seen from my detailed CV attached, my most recent responsibilities, which I was holding for more than 13 years includes all the responsibilities as head of Finance & Accounts Department of an International Non-profit organization.
I worked with the U.S. Soybean Export Council as Manager (Finance & Accounts) for its Asia Subcontinent office, which was located in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR) and managed its activities for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka until they decided to close their office in India. USSEC is a non-profit, multi-national organization, having its Head Office in Chesterfield , MO, USA with its representation in 90 countries and 9 offices worldwide to create and sustain demand for U.S. soybeans and soybean products. This organization is partially funded by US Farmers (United Soybean Board) and partially USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service (US Government).
From the Finance & Accounting department in India, I was responsible for Finance – Management and Support, Accounts – Recording, Control and Auditing, Budget preparation, Monitoring and Analysis, Report – All statutory reporting and filing to the Government of India and to the Management, Compliance – Reviewing all the documents, invoices and making sure that organization’s Accounting Policies and Procedures are followed properly.
Before this I worked as Manager (Finance & Accounts) for Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (A U.P. Govt. Undertaking)for about 6 years. While working there I was in-charge of Finalization of Accounts, Budget preparation, forecast, cash flow, fund management costing and reporting to management and government.
I am an independent, hardworking, sincere, honest, disciplined and innovative person. I have good managerial and analytical skills, good interpersonal skills and I am a team player with ability to remain focused and cope under pressure.
I have traveled in-country/abroad for work/non work related activities, thus having international exposure.
