Professional Experience:
With a formal education in economics and business, I started my career as a Market Intelligence Analyst with Deloitte (US-India). My team was responsible for supporting key strategic solutions for the major accounts of the firms. Key focus was given on conducting secondary research to forecast insights for global companies, markets and economies. To facilitate the same, I had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional assignments and utilise various internationally acclaimed databases. Have been conferred with a “SPOT Award” for delivering extra-ordinary value to the clients.

Despite being fortunate to have the conventional “big break”, I wanted to lead a purpose driven life and decided to do my part of “bridging the gap”; by joining the Teach For India fellowship. Being a highly selective programme (reportedly having a 6% selection rate), I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of professionals ranging from conventional educators to community leaders to social entrepreneurs and various other change makers.
As a full time educator, placed in an underprivileged school in Hyderabad, my responsibilities focus at the growth of the designated classroom; development of the school and nearby communities. Strategized personalized weekly/unit wise/yearly plans for the designated classroom which led to one of the highest academic growth in the team. Collaborated with external organisations to conduct baseline research studies to build sustainable models, aimed at accelerating and optimising the existing skill set of the youth. Designed and supported academic frameworks through curriculum development for all the elementary classrooms in the school. Strengthened the holistic development of the school by leading initiatives in the areas of teacher training, fellow mentoring, life skills, student counselling, etc. Prioritised fundraising projects through crowdsourcing websites and on-campus events for the school’s infrastructure.
Integrating the learnings of both my professional experiences, my areas of expertise include strategic planning, financial analysis, primary and secondary research, education management, training and development. I aspire to leverage the same and grow in the development sector through consulting, managerial and other related opportunities.
Education:
Conferred with a BSc (Economics) and MBA (Finance) from Symbiosis International University, Pune. Have had strong educational base covering a broad range of course in the field of business and economics with special emphasis on development economics, strategic management, research writing, financial analysis, portfolio management and internet marketing. Apart from achieving consistent academic performance and awards, I have had the opportunity to undertake leadership roles as the Assistant General Secretary of Symbiosis School Of Economics and coordinator of the entrepreneurship cell and economics club of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
