Yehi Hai Sahi - Condom Hamesha
An ICICI bank initiated program funded by USAID for Advancement of Commercial Technology-Child and Reproductive Health (PACT-CRH).
The 360 communication of the 3 year long project was managed by Lowe Lintas and i worked as an extended implementation partner for on ground interventions.
Year 1
We implemented two separate projects namely :
1. Life hai Control mein ( College events)
and 2. Soch sahi toh action sahi ( cricket for couples)
The college events was a discussion forum wherein we had a interactive session with 150+ students in each college discussing about issues related to unsafe sex at early age, pre-marital sex, current scenarios and how to stay in control. This discussion ws put together in a more humorous way like today's standup acts...to generate interest, engagement and involvement through interactive discussions.
we covered over 140 colleges/institutes in over 10 cities across north india touch over 15000+ students through the interactive discussions.
The second series of activity - Soch Sahi toh action sahi was conducted in organised RWAs in over 10 cities where couples are invited to play a double wicket cricket tournament. A special zone was created in their lawn ares with every scoring area with a sound message related to safe sex, usage of condoms, trusting partner and many more similar and more direct messaging. at the end of the competition, the winning couples were give a prize which included the pack of condoms.
We covered over 157 RWAs with over 1700+ couples to play the game touching over 30 lakh people including spectators across 20 ctities.
In year 2 - We conducted a series of multicity stage events with a specially designed game show for couples. The project was named as - EK duje ke liye...the game show was in the line of "how well you know you partner". Questions were asked to couples separately and if they give the correct answer about the other they win. The event was hosted by the Zee TV popular host Manish Paul.
The event was hosted in 10 cities across north india with an consolidated audience strength of over 45,000 people attending the events. It was a 120 minutes event with 2 sets of game show played for 8 couple teams selected from the audience and there was a draw conducted with lots of giveaways.
A popular TV celebrity guest was invited for every event.
This project has won several awards during the year.
