Professional Experience:
I am a motivated and result-focused, offering an experience of 20 years in Health industry. Currently working for advance and frontline FETP for the EIS officers and district surveillance officers. My core competencies lie in the spectrum of surveillance of locally endemic diseases and outbreak investigations, Prevention and Control of Diseases; currently spearheading efforts as Surveillance officer cum Zonal Malaria Officer in National vector borne disease control programme, Nodal officer for NCD & Integrated disease surveillance programme, o/o Chief Medical Officer, Jalandhar Punjab.
For 14 years (1993- 2006), i was working as medical officer in Primary health care mainly in Immunization, Emergency services and RNTCP programme in district Jalandhar, Punjab. After PG in Public health (2006-09), i was working as Emergency medical officer from 2010-11. From 2011-12, i was working as surveillance medical officer for the VBDs, VPDs and outbreak investigations. After my EIS training (2012-14) at NCDC-CDC, i was posted at State headquarters as surveillance medical officer for VBDs, VPDs, HCV surveillance in State, TOT for malaria elimination in state H1N1 outbreak investigations and training of the state medical officers and Paramedics of the state.
