Professional Experience:
Instilled with this belief since my childhood, I have approached every aspect of my life with a view to attain knowledge and grow personally and professionally. However, this drive for growth has always been accompanied by a flair for working to give back to society. I found a way out for same early in my career as I started interning at Arghyam Foundation. Within my very first professional endeavor, I was given the opportunity to work on social welfare programs. I designed the research process for analyzing social participation in Participatory Ground Water Management Program and facilitated communication between the renowned Azim Premji University, Arghyam, and WASSAN. With this pursuit, I started developing my capabilities in project coordination and research which bore fruit as I moved up the ladder in my career.

I soon joined the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Bhopal as a Research Associate. In this endeavor, I explored the nitty-gritties of policy analysis on both national and global levels, scouted gaps in the data, and delivered evidence backed suggestions for further research in the relevant areas. Within this engagement, I not only honed my skills in high volume data search and analysis, but also realized my passion for enabling social welfare and sustainability, and enhancing community-driven sustainable projects.

My current position as the Project Manager for Tata Trusts’ Habitat and Urban Poverty Alleviation Centre at Varanasi has been both challenging and power packed. Here, my competencies in budgeting, fundraising, and strategic planning have led me to accomplish several projects including engineering an Android app-based system, and a data-based model online monitoring mechanism to develop an attendance framework for 4000 ground level sanitation workers. Within seven days of implementing the project, we recorded an increase in employee attendance from 36% to 80%. Further to this, I have undertaken other crucial responsibilities including managing CSR funds for Swachh Bharat Mission – Urban.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with the state government and the municipal corporations. In my present role, I closely coordinated with government bodies to bring three Waste to Energy plants into operation within a period of 15 days. I employed my project coordination experience to manage and organize workflow, identify and mitigate project risks, and complete pertinent documentation. Further, I wrote agreement renewal and termination letters on behalf of the Municipal Commissioner, compiled data-based governance reports related to e-governance, and prepared periodic reports outlining the project outcomes. One of my significant contributions has been the introduction of War Rooms which allowed for effective administrative execution of various programs. In fact, I have been appreciated for my consistency in delivering results, team management, and problem resolution.
