After a successful career working towards advancing the equality, empowerment and economic development of groups from underserved and marginalised communities in India, in 2017 I commenced a Master’s at the University of Oxford. In August 2018 I graduated, having specialised in Gender and Development. This program gave me a platform to build upon my previous eight years of engaging with social impact focussed organisations.
As a part of Portfolio Management at Atma and Strategy Consulting at Intellecap, I have designed and implemented ecosystem development projects and led collaborations across sectors such as Education, Healthcare and Agriculture. I have also had opportunities to collaborate with team members from Intellecap’s Debt Financing group – Intellegrow for my project on increasing access to maternal and child health care across 5 Indian States. These interactions have strengthened my understanding and experience of Impact Investing. Additionally, through my current project with UnLtd India, I have been able to convene dialogues with diverse national and international stakeholders on entrepreneurial ecosystem development which I would be able to leverage in my next role.
