Professional Experience: |
Started career with the Antaranga Society for Social and Economic Development, Kolkata as an Evaluator and Teaching Resource Person right after completing post-graduation.
Have also been associated with the Prayasam's ONTRACK program as a consultant facilitator. Was responsible for capacity building for Kolkata’s urban marginalized youth with professional and other necessary soft skills to enhance employability by providing exposure to industry needs.
Was also associated with the Mahindra group in their Pride Classroom program as a soft skill trainer to empower young people from socially and economically disadvantaged communities by providing them with soft skill training to enhance their chances of employability.
Currently, working with the Aangan Trust as a Training and Impact Associate working in the child harm hotspots of Pakur District, Jharkhand. The larger agenda is to ensure that communities are actively involved in building protective systems against child harm. My primary responsibility is to facilitate training (onsite / online) for project partners, monitoring and evaluate the implementation; and also building liaison with the government officials so that their performance is emphasized/monitored in the context of child protection.

Affiliations and Achievements: |
In 2021 Aangan Trust launched a project where toll free ‘warmlines’ were set up across 900 slums and villages in six states including Jharkhand to give underprivileged teenagers an outlet to talk and share their concerns, anxieties, and grief. Out of 20-25 people who were closely associated with the project, I was chosen to give an interview about the vision and the agenda of the project to a national print media publication along with the present Chief Operating Officer of the organization. They believed that it was me who will only be able to explain the vision of the project in the most accurate way possible. It gives me a sense of accomplishment because it is an acknowledgement of my true potential and place in the organization; which I have achieved through years of hard work.
